During the Minnesota State Fair, CFANS was proud to welcome University of Minnesota President Rebecca Cunningham to the College exhibit at the Minnesota State Fair. Cunningham spoke with CFANS Dean Brian Buhr, fruit breeding expert Matt Clark, and resident "gar guy" Solomon David, whose work studying these ancient fish is featured in our State Fair virtual reality experience.

Goldy crashed the gathering to "row the boat" in our canoe photo booth, hand out some gar fish hats, and meet CFANS' own Princess Kay of the Milky Way, Rachel Visser, a sophomore majoring in Agricultural and Food Business Management and Agricultural Communications and Marketing.
